Jiri Svestka Berlin presents young Slovak artist Petra Feriancova (born 1977) with her exhibition A Report on the Time Spending. Combining photography and projected images this is her first exhibition in Berlin. By reassembling family archives and private images she does not only open up new meanings and connections of her history but also gives the viewer access to the original emotional reaction to it.
Her works have been shown internationally in museums and galleries. In 2010 Feriancova was awarded the most prestigious visual arts price of the Slovak Republic, the Oskar Cepan Award.
