Galerie Campagne Première Berlin was founded by Nina Koidl and Henning Weidemann. The gallery has a conceptual artistic approach, often involving lense-based media. Since its start in 2008, Campagne Première has presented thematic solo exhibitions like Marco Poloni‘s The Majorana Experiment, films inspired by the disappearence of the Italian physicist Ettore Majorana, and MARI Earthtracks, a visual and sound project by Kanoko Hashimoto that chronicles a ball bouncing in 52 cities. The gallery represents young artists working in a concept-oriented way across media (Uriel Orlow, Moritz Hirsch, Marco Poloni, Vittorio Santoro) and has also presented established artists of the first generations of conceptualists (Victor Burgin, Sol LeWitt, Stan Brakhage).
