ELGER ESSER: MORGENLAND
Ends Sunday 21 May 2017
Elger Esser’s first UK solo exhibition focuses on a new series of photographic works created during his travels to the Near East from 2004-15. Often in muted, sepia or monochromatic colours, his works have a stillness about them that evokes a sense of the sublime and are in stark contrast to what we know of the conflicts taking place in these regions today and how they are generally portrayed in the media. JULIEN TIBERI: THE PANORAMIC DAILIES #2
Continues through to Saturday 12 August 2017
Julien Tiberi‘s concrete sculpture, The Panoramic Dailies #2, portrays a group of huddled figures engrossed in something mysterious. Tiberi explores the concept of quantum entanglement within his works, a phenomenon where pairs or groups interact in such a way that they cannot be defined independently of others.
