For Art Basel Miami Beach Victoria Miro is proud to present works by a selection of gallery artists, including for the first time a new collage work by Njideka Akunyili Crosby, who has just joined the gallery and is the recipient of this year’s Smithsonian American Art Museum‘s James Dicke Contemporary Art Prize. The booth will also include new paintings by Varda Caivano, in advance of her exhibition at the Renaissance Society, Chicago in February 2015; works on paper by Chris Ofili, (image shown: Poolside Magic 9, 2012) whose critically acclaimed solo exhibition Night and Day continues at the New Museum through 25 January; and a special display of silver works by Yayoi Kusama, including a new silver infinity net painting and large silver mosaic pumpkin. In addition the gallery will present works by Eric FischlSecundino HernándezChristian HolstadSarah Sze and Kara Walker.

Victoria Miro is delighted to present an exhibition of work by Sarah Sze across all three galleries in January 2015. In Mayfair, Sze will install a new series of sculptures conceived especially for the space, while in our two Wharf Road galleries the artist will reconfigure three large-scale installations first shown in her recent exhibition at The Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia.
